Qualifications

• Must possess a Heavy Duty Mechanic Journeyman Certificate or be an Apprentice level 4 technician.
• BC Class 5 driver's license required; Class 3 with air brakes or Class 1 is an asset.
• Ability to work in a physical capacity, including heavy lifting.

Primary Job Functions

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, repairs, and maintain a variety of hydraulic truck mounted equipment.
• Trouble shoot, diagnose, repairs, and maintain a variety of equipment ranging cranes, bucket trucks and hi rail.
• Report to Foreman and Service management to assist with customer communication and satisfaction.
• Ability to type out detailed stories of repairs to be caried forward or completed.
• Ability to keep a clean and safe workspace.
• Maintain efficient and accurate workmanship in a safe and professional environment.

Qualifications

• Heavy Duty Mechanic Journeyman Certificate (Apprentice level 4 technician will be considered)
• BC Class 5 driver's license (Class 3 with air brakes or Class 1 is considered an asset)
• Mechanically inclined with a strong aptitude for diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance.
• Customer service focused with effective communication skills.
• Must be a motivated able to work in a fast paced, detailed, and processed driven environment .
• Ability to work in a physical capacity including heavy lifting and using tools throughout the shift.
• Use of computerized scanning equipment, able to use digital technology / mechanical software.
