Kluane Drilling Ltd. in Whitehorse, Yukon is hiring a Heavy-duty equipment mechanic (NOC 72401) for a permanent, full-time role with 35 to 40 hours per week.

The position requires a college/university degree in mechanical engineering-related fields, English language proficiency, and a valid driver’s license with driving experience. Start date as soon as possible; salary is $45.00 per hour plus health, dental, and medical benefits.

• Education: College or University degree – Mechanical engineering-related fields of study.

• Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years experience on the field. And a valid driver’s license with 2 years experience driving and clean driver’s abstract.

Mansioni

• Diagnose faults or malfunctions using computerized and other testing equipment to determine extent of repair required.
• Adjust equipment and repair or replace defective parts.
• Keep maintenance reports and documentation.
• Test repaired equipment for proper performance and to ensure that work meets manufacturers' specifications.
• Clean, lubricate and perform other maintenance work.
