Position: Industrial Mechanic / Millwright

We are looking for a talented Industrial Mechanic / Millwright with 3+ years of experience. The ideal candidate will have a positive outlook and a proven track record. Join our team and use your skills to contribute to high-quality results. This is a full-time, permanent, in-shop position.

Responsibilities include:

• Rebuilding various types of industrial equipment
• Performing work requiring knowledge of welding processes and practices
• Checking tools and equipment regularly and reporting defects or unusual conditions to the supervisor
• Operating overhead cranes, forklifts, and trucks to install or transport materials, equipment, and tools
• Diagnosing failure modes and including written technical reports
• Measuring components to determine repair or replacement needs
• Selecting and sourcing replacement parts as required
• Hydraulic system installation and repair
• Interpreting drawings and sketches; planning work procedures, including tool and material requirements
• Assembling custom-designed industrial and mining equipment that includes mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical components
• Disassembling, reassembling, and pressure testing equipment

Preferred Qualifications:

• Ability to work night shifts and/or weekends
• Current CWB Welding Tickets are an asset
