What You’ll Be Doing
  • Inspect, service and maintain a diverse fleet of construction equipment including earth-moving equipment, compact equipment, and aerial equipment such as telehandlers, boom lifts and scissor lifts.
  • Perform preventative maintenance, diagnose equipment malfunctions and make required repairs. Test repaired equipment for proper performance.
  • Lead and mentor apprentices, providing guidance, training and support.
  • Provide a high standard of customer service in all interactions with customers.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of inspections, maintenance and work orders.
  • Contribute to a professional and safe work environment by keeping the shop and yard clean, and by ensuring all company policies and procedures, and safety requirements are followed by the shop team.
Qualifications And Requirements

What You’ll Bring to the Team

  • Red Seal / Journeyperson 321A or 310T Heavy Equipment Technician License.
  • Experience working on a variety of construction equipment is preferred.
  • Valid Class 5 driver’s license with clean or satisfactory driver’s abstract (no more than 3 demerit points). You will be required to provide a copy of your updated driver’s abstract upon request.
  • Strong understanding of diagnostic tools.
  • Expertise with diesel engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems.
  • Flexibility; must be comfortable with managing and adapting to multiple changing priorities in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Excellent communication and problem solving skills.
