Job summary

Belmont House is seeking a reliable cleaner for on-site work in Ontario. You will perform core cleaning duties across hallways, floors, bathrooms and windows, with attention to safety and efficiency.

The role requires 1 year to less than 2 years of experience, excellent communication, and ability to lift heavy loads. Work is conducted on-site with a shift pattern and opportunities to learn industrial cleaning equipment.

Qualifications

• 1 year to less than 2 years of work experience.
• On-site work required with no remote option.
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks and lift heavy loads.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, scrub and wax hallways, floors and stairs.
• Operate industrial vacuum cleaners to remove scraps and debris.
• Empty trash cans and waste containers.
• Wash windows, interior walls and ceilings.
• Move heavy furniture, equipment and supplies.
• Clean and disinfect bathrooms and fixtures.
• Work with minimal supervision.
• Clear snow and ice from walkways and parking areas.
