Job description

Bayview Trucks & Equipment Ltd. is a full-service dealer for Kenworth Trucks and KUBOTA farm and construction equipment. We are currently seeking an Agriculture Technician for our Kubota division at our Fredericton, New Brunswick location. Key Responsibilities for a Technician:

• Demonstrate proficiency in the repair and diagnosis of equipment, including but not limited to: engines, power trains, electrical systems, steering systems, electronics, brake systems, suspension systems, and various attachments associated with construction equipment.
• Identify and determine parts required for repair of disassembled units.
• Perform all levels of preventive maintenance services.
• Identify warrantable repairs and document on repair orders.
• Road test vehicles when necessary to diagnose malfunctions or verify repair success.
• Complete technical reports from different manufacturers accurately and in a timely manner.
• Work effectively in a team environment and present oneself professionally with a positive, cooperative attitude.
• Maintain an organized workspace and adhere to all company policies and procedures.

Requirements:

• Completion of a college certification for Heavy Equipment Service and/or Agriculture Technician - MINIMUM BLOCK 3 COMPLETION.
• Ability to lift and move a maximum of 50 lbs (or in accordance with provincial workplace health & safety standards).
• Willingness and ability to continue training to obtain and maintain relevant licenses.
• Clean driver’s abstract and criminal reference check.
• Basic computer skills with the ability to operate Windows-based software.
• Minimum of 4 years experience in a service environment.
