Job description

Bayview Trucks & Equipment Ltd. is a full service, parts and sales dealer for Kenworth Trucks and KUBOTA farm and construction Equipment. We are currently seeking an Agriculture Tech for our Kubota division at our Fredericton, New Brunswick location. Key Responsibilities for a Technician:

• Demonstrate proficiency in the repair and diagnosis of equipment, including but not limited to engines, power trains, electrical systems, steering systems, electronics, brake systems, suspension systems, and various attachments associated with construction equipment.
• Identify and determine parts required for the repair of disassembled units.
• Perform all levels of preventive maintenance services.
• Identify warrantable repairs and document on repair orders.
• Road test vehicles when necessary to diagnose malfunctions or verify repair resolution.
• Complete technical reports from different manufacturers in a timely and accurate manner.
• Work effectively in a team environment and present oneself professionally with a positive, cooperative attitude.
• Maintain an organized workspace and adhere to all company policies and procedures.

Requirements:

• Completion of a College certification for Heavy Equipment Service and/or A Technician - MINIMUM BLOCK 3 COMPLETION.
• Ability to lift and move a maximum of 50 lbs (or in accordance with provincial workplace health & safety standards).
• Willingness and ability to continue training to obtain necessary licenses.
• Clean driver’s abstract and criminal reference check.
• Basic computer skills with the ability to work with Windows-based software.
• Minimum of 4 years experience in a service environment.
