Job summary

JCD Refrigeration Inc. is seeking an experienced Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Mechanic to perform installation, overhaul, and servicing of heating and cooling systems at client sites in Quebec. The role requires hands-on expertise with HVAC/R equipment and compliance with safety standards.

Qualifications

• Trade certificate or diploma in refrigeration or related field.
• 2–3 years of experience in heating, ventilation or refrigeration preferred.
• On-site work at client locations is required.

Responsibilities

• Install and overhaul heating systems and related components.
• Troubleshoot heating, ventilation, refrigeration and air conditioning systems.
• Measure, cut, and weld piping as required.
• Provide customer service and assist with system startups and leak testing.
• Perform maintenance tasks such as refrigerant recharge and regulator checks.
• Interpret gas codes and handle refrigerants safely.
• Repair and replace parts in refrigeration and HVAC systems.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Install and overhaul heating systems


• Troubleshoot heating systems


• Troubleshoot ventilation, air handling, refrigeration and air conditioning systems


• Assemble and install refrigeration or air conditioning components


• Measure, cut and connect piping using welding and brazing equipment
