Job summary

Nova Scotia Health is seeking a Stores Clerk for the SCO Stores VCM in Western Nova Scotia. You will support inventory control, order entry, packing, labeling, and shipping while traveling to multiple facilities as needed.

You will operate warehouse machinery, maintain cleanliness, and assist with cycle counts and special projects. A Grade 12 education and SAP familiarity are preferred, with strong interpersonal and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 or equivalent.
• Minimum of one year experience or training in an automated (computerized) Material Management Service; SAP preferred.
• A valid class 5 driver's license with a satisfactory clean driving abstract.
• Willingness to participate in ongoing education programs.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and general computer software.
• Ability to travel to multiple Nova Scotia Health facilities within the Western Zone.

Responsibilities

• Manage inventory organization, coordination and control and delivery of inventories and supplies.
• Enter and pick orders, pack, label and stage picked orders for shipping and receiving.
• Deliver supplies to NSH locations and keep the warehouse clean.
• Operate warehouse equipment (electric/manual pallet jacks) and employer supply vehicles up to 28 feet.
• Assist with cycle counts, loading/unloading, and special projects as needed.
