Job summary

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Active (or eligible) for appointment as a Community Peace Officer with enforcement duties.
• Valid Class 5 Driver's Licence.
• PARE completed.

Responsibilities

• Provide security and protective services for patients, visitors, staff and AHS property.
• Monitor violence, prevention and intervention.
• Enforce applicable statutes and conduct investigations.
• Prevent asset loss and conduct internal investigations.
• Prepare court documents and secure evidence.
• Perform risk assessments and hazard identification.
• Arrest, apprehend and detain persons; respond to critical events.
