Job summary

Whitehorse General Hospital, part of Yukon Hospitals, is seeking a Network Analyst – Information Systems. The role focuses on advanced planning, maintenance and support for the hospital's IT infrastructure, including Cisco networking, VMware, EMC storage and telephone systems.

This is a full-time, on-site position reporting to the Manager, Information Systems. The successful candidate will have a post-secondary degree in Information Systems and proven experience with enterprise networks,

Qualifications

• Two-year post-secondary diploma/degree in Information Systems or related field.
• Experience managing medium-sized corporate networks, preferably in healthcare.
• MCSE recommended but not technically required.
• Experience with MEDITECH systems operational tasks.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced planning, maintenance and hardware support for IT infrastructure.
• Support Cisco switching, routing, wireless, EMC storage, and VMware environments.
• Support telephone systems and end-user desktops.
• Manage enterprise-scale networks within a healthcare context.
