Job summary

Nova Scotia Health Authority seeks an IM/IT Systems Analyst for information management and technology. The role supports clinical information systems across NSH, IWK and external clients, gathering requirements, testing, and ensuring smooth operations.

You will collaborate with clinical and business stakeholders province-wide, aligning IT solutions with strategic goals. The position requires IT/BA training or equivalent, 1–3 years in analysis or support, and familiarity with EMRs like Telus Med

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in IT, Business Analysis or Health related discipline or equivalent.
• 1-3 years’ experience in application programming, systems analysis or business analysis.
• Experience with EMRs such as Telus Med Access and/or QHR Accuro is a strong asset.
• Experience with healthcare information systems and terminology is an asset.
• Healthcare setting experience and ITIL/PMP/change management assets.

Responsibilities

• Gather requirements, test, implement and support clinical information systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve application and system issues.
• Develop materials and communicate system changes to end users.
• Build and maintain system configuration items with stakeholder approvals.
