Job summary

Bayshore HealthCare is hiring a Cleaner to join our home and community care team in Canada. The role involves performing IPAC cleaning across a range of areas, including patient discharge rooms, bathrooms, and common spaces, with strict adherence to safety and infection control standards.

We seek candidates with a secondary school diploma (or Home Support Programs) and at least 1 year of relevant experience.

Qualifications

Completion of secondary school diploma preferred.
Home Support Programs training is a plus.
At least 1 year of experience in a similar position.
Ability to travel locally.

Responsibilities

Perform IPAC cleaning activities: sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming.
Clean bathrooms and dispose of waste; complete cleaning after patient discharge.
Follow admission room, discharge, and isolation cleaning procedures.
Inspect rooms to meet Bayshore's high standards.
Notify supervisors of damages, deficits, and disturbances.
Handle inquiries professionally and maintain cleanliness throughout shifts.
Check consumables stock and replace when appropriate.
Follow health and safety rules and company practices.
Complete other duties as assigned.
