COMPASS GROUP CANADA is seeking a dedicated housekeeping team member to perform light cleaning duties in a healthcare setting, maintaining cleanliness and safety across patient areas and common spaces. Duties include disinfecting areas, stripping and laundering linen, floor care, waste removal, and reporting hazards with care and discretion.

Qualifications

• Must have strong time management and organizational skills.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Good command of English, both verbal and written.
• Physical ability to lift up to 20 pounds.
• Experience in healthcare, hotel or commercial cleaning is an asset.

Responsabilités

• Clean and disinfect areas and items such as surgical procedure areas, washrooms, operating room tables, stretchers, vents, interior windows, walls, glass, doors, and mirrors.
• Strip, wash and make beds; collect and fold linen.
• Damp mop hard floors and auto scrub as needed.
• Check all primary areas and clean as required.
• Vacuum carpeted areas and complete carpet extraction as needed.
• Remove all garbage from resident and common areas.
• Maintain confidentiality of all resident and personnel information.
• Perform duties according to health and safety guidelines.
• Responding to emergency cleanups as required.
