Job summary

Medmatch-Recruitment in Ancaster, Ontario is seeking a Health & Wellness Manager- RPN to lead the clinical operations in a modern senior living community just outside Hamilton. As an RPN with leadership experience, you will oversee day-to-day care, support PSWs and nursing staff, and ensure individualized resident care plans are implemented with compassion.

This role includes partnering with families, driving quality care, and actively mentoring staff; you will help hire, onboard, and schedule

Qualifications

  • Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) with active registration in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario.
  • Minimum 3 years of nursing experience, with leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
  • Strong background in senior living, long-term care, or a similar healthcare environment.
  • Proven ability to lead teams, manage performance, and build positive workplace culture.
  • Confident in handling resident and family conversations with professionalism and empathy.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with a hands-on leadership style.
  • Current CPR and First Aid certification.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a key clinical resource and uphold high standards of care.

  • Take ownership of clinical quality through audits and continuous improvement.
  • Participate in hiring, onboarding, and staff development.
  • Coach and mentor staff to support performance and growth.
  • Ensure proper staffing levels and scheduling for consistent care.
  • Be a visible leader, present on the floor and lead by example.

What You Bring
