Urgent and Primary Care Centres are medical facilities providing ongoing medical care and timely attention for urgent, non-life-threatening injuries and illnesses that should be seen by a healthcare provider within 12 to 24 hours but do not require emergency department services. Reporting to the Manager, Clinical Operations or designate, this role is key in ensuring quality and timely care, maintaining efficient client flow, and supporting a safe, welcoming environment. Responsibilities include maintaining supplies, preparing clinic rooms, supporting clinical procedures, processing lab samples, managing financial and administrative tasks, and assisting clients in a compassionate, client-centered manner.
Grade 12, completion of a Medical Office Assistant certificate, and one year of recent related experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
