Defence Construction Canada (DCC) seeks a Health and Safety Coordinator to support project sites and regional offices, ensuring compliance with health and safety duties. You will review contractor safety plans, inspect sites, and track risks across DCC while working with construction coordinators and other groups, in a role that offers hybrid work three days per week in the office.

Responsibilities

• Serve as local contact for health and safety rules and laws.
• Coordinate with groups to push health and safety plans forward.
• Review contractor safety plans and ensure they meet expectations.
• Conduct site safety checks and investigate incidents; support risk control.
• Plan and run monthly safety huddle and training sessions.
• Build relationships with industry partners and regulators.
