IKEA is hiring for a Unit Business Risk & Compliance Co-worker in Toronto. You will help drive risk awareness, ensure adherence to policies, and support safety, security, and compliance initiatives across the unit.

The role emphasizes risk assessment, incident reporting, and collaboration with leaders to strengthen resilience while promoting an inclusive, safe work environment and adherence to local legislation.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in Risk Management, Compliance, Security, Health & Safety, or a related field.

Responsabilités

• Promote a culture of risk awareness and support risk-informed decision-making across the unit.
• Provide guidance on Ingka policies, procedures, and local legislation to maintain a safe and secure environment.
• Support and facilitate the completion of required compliance, safety, and risk-related training.
• Identify, assess, and help mitigate operational, safety, security, and compliance risks.
• Support incident prevention, investigations, and corrective action planning.
• Monitor, track, and report incidents involving co-workers, customers, and visitors to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
• Partner with leaders and co-workers to strengthen compliance, safety, and business resilience.
• Support emergency preparedness and security-related activities to protect people, assets, and the IKEA brand.

• Minimum 2 years of experience in Risk Management, Compliance, Security, Health & Safety, or a related field.


• Valid First Aid & CPR certification.


• Valid Ontario Security Guard Licence.


• Defensive Tactics certification is an asset.


• Strong communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.


• Knowledge of risk management, safety practices, and compliance requirements.
