Job summary

IKEA Dartmouth is seeking a Unit Business Risk & Compliance Co-worker to help promote risk management within the unit and support colleagues in complying with Ingka Rules to keep customers and co-workers safe.

You will facilitate trainings, contribute to risk-aware decision making, and help develop systems to detect, analyse and reduce losses. A minimum of 2 years of related experience is required.

  • Promote risk management in the unit, informing and sharing expertise, to develop risk-aware decision making in relation to unit goals and business plan.
  • Support co-workers by providing expertise in acting in accordance with Ingka Rules and local legislation to secure a safe environment for customers and co-workers.
  • Promote and ensure completion of trainings needed and facilitate for co-workers to meet IKEA's risk appetite.
  • Support Risk & Compliance culture by developing leadership and conscious approach in identifying and implementing systems to detect, analyse and reduce business loss, financial impact, prevent incidents and accidents.
  • Ensure the reporting of relevant figures for e.g. co-workers, customer and visitors incidents to establish progress and areas for improvement.

The starting rate/ salary for this position ranges from 21.88 CAD to 29.52 CAD and will be based on relevant work experience.
