Ontario Transit Group (OTG) is seeking a Health and Safety Advisor for the Ontario Line South Civil, Stations & Tunnel project in Toronto. You will champion safety across OTG construction sites, conducting inspections, delivering training, and leading incident reporting and investigations.

The role involves rotating day and night shifts, ensuring regulatory compliance, maintaining documentation, and collaborating with project teams to drive continuous safety improvements.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Occupational Health and Safety; knowledge of local health and safety regulations and codes.
• Minimum 3–5 years in health and safety roles, preferably in construction or infrastructure.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage and influence safety initiatives.
• Proficiency in safety management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience in incident investigation and root cause analysis.

Responsabilidades

• Ensure safety compliance across OTG construction sites and adherence to regulations.
• Conduct safety inspections and audits of sites, equipment, and processes.
• Deliver safety training for employees, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Facilitate incident reporting and investigation; implement corrective actions.
• Maintain accurate safety records and prepare reports for review.
• Promote safety awareness through meetings and toolbox talks.
• Assist in emergency response planning and training.
• Identify opportunities for safety improvements and implement enhancements.
• Evaluate subcontractor safety performance and ensure OTG safety standards are met.
