As part of our team, your role will be to:
- Manage CNESST files (from claim to implementation of corrective measures) in partnership with the prevention mutual;
- Act as co-chair of the OHS committee, ensuring its administration and animation;
- Ensure the identification of risks and opportunities for improvement in collaboration with various stakeholders, propose preventive measures, ensure the prioritization of preventive and corrective actions, and their implementation;
- Create and disseminate training materials and coordinate internal and external training activities;
- Ensure legal monitoring and best practices in health and safety;
- Communicate issues and changes related to the company's compliance with CNESST (follow-up on OHS training, support the application of recommendations);
- Act as a reference and point of contact for OHS regulations and prevention for Arjo in Quebec;
- Participate in the onboarding process of new employees;
- Ensure the collection and analysis of KPIs related to OHS and disability;
- Advise and contribute to maintaining harmonious labor relations and support the management team in HR issues;
- Participate in company outreach activities (job fairs, networking meetings, etc.);
- Ensure the application, communication, and updating of HR policies, including the Employee Handbook and the prevention program;
- Support the HR team in implementing the strategy and various team mandates.
Profile:
- Relevant diploma for the position (human resources, OHS, industrial hygiene, or other);
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in human resources or OHS, preferably in a manufacturing company or similar experience;
- Excellent time management skills, ability to handle more than one project at a time, and prioritize tasks;
- Demonstrated ability to identify and analyze OHS risks and opportunities for improvement;
- Good knowledge and ease with computer systems (Office suite);
- Excellent ability to quickly develop professional relationships and create a climate conducive to trustful discussions;
- Ability to lead and mobilize stakeholders to carry out projects with organization, positive influence, and persuasion;
- Ability to demonstrate discretion and tact in managing confidential situations;
- Ability to speak confidently and clearly in front of a group;
- Communication level 5/5 in French (written and spoken);
- Experience in a regulated environment (asset).
