Job summary

Fraserway RV is seeking a Health & Safety Advisor to strengthen our safety culture across Canada and support operational leaders in turning legislation into practical action. This hands-on role focuses on coaching leaders, identifying risks, incident investigations and delivering training to employees.

You will develop and improve health and safety programs, manage claims across jurisdictions and ensure compliance with provincial requirements.

Qualifications

• Diploma or certificate in Occupational Health & Safety or a related discipline.
• 3-5 years of progressive health and safety experience, preferably in a multi-site operational environment.
• Strong knowledge of provincial occupational health and safety legislation.
• Experience conducting hazard assessments and participating in incident investigations.
• Experience coaching managers, supervisors and frontline employees on safety responsibilities.
• Strong communication, relationship-building, organizational and project management skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with operational leaders.
• Willingness and ability to travel to Fraserway RV locations as required.

Responsibilities

• Manage workplace injury and occupational illness claims across multiple Canadian jurisdictions, including claim reporting, documentation, return-to-work planning and accommodation support.
• Maintain knowledge of provincial occupational health and safety and workers’ compensation requirements.
• Support internal COR auditing requirements, safety reporting and continuous improvement initiatives.

This role is ideal for a hands-on safety professional who enjoys building relationships, coaching leaders, identifying risks, and turning legislation and safety expectations into practical action.

• Experience in automotive, RV, retail, dealership, manufacturing, transportation or another multi-site operational environment.
• Experience developing and delivering safety training programs.

Compensation: $75,000 per year + (dependent on skills and experience).
