Job summary

Scarborough Transit Connect, a joint venture between Aecon and FCC Canada, seeks a Health & Safety Administrator for the SSE-SRS project in the Toronto area. You will support the HS team, collect data, and ensure safe, auditable documentation across multiple reporting cycles.

You will coordinate safety summits, maintain the HS dashboard, and assist with reporting deadlines while leveraging strong communication and organizational skills in a fast-paced construction environment.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years in a HS admin role in construction (rail experience is a plus).
• Post-secondary education in Health & Safety.
• Knowledge of provincial OHS legislation & construction regulations.
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Strong written and verbal communication; detail oriented.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational support and resources for the HS team.
• Collect, analyze HS data for performance metrics and reports.
• Monitor accident/incident report completion and filing.
• Maintain safety docs for audits and access.
• Manage weekly, monthly, quarterly, yearly stats for tracking.
• Maintain corrective action database from site inspections and investigations.
• Coordinate and gather info for HS Excellence submissions.
• Organize logistics for quarterly safety summits.
• Maintain HS Dashboard and reporting status.
• Assist in startup for new work areas and templates.
