Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an experienced Expert to lead multiple client engagements in a fast-paced consulting environment. You will direct project teams, develop robust search strategies, and deliver candidate profiles and reports that address client needs.

In this role, you will leverage market insights, drive business development, and collaborate with clients on pitches and materials. A Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years of professional experience are required, with preferred exposure to executive

• Minimum of 3 years’ professional work experience post-undergrad.
• Demonstrated experience in market research, qualitative/legal research, professional services/consulting, or project planning.
• Ability to manage multiple mandates simultaneously in a fast-paced, client-driven environment.
• Executive search industry experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the lead Expert for multiple client projects with Consultants and other Experts.
• Develop rigorous project approaches and strategies using market research and data tools.
• Guide project teams through search processes, candidate solutions, and client materials.
• Identify, calibrate, and prioritize potential candidates through internal and external research.
• Develop understanding of Firm offerings to identify client solutions.
• Create client documentation including candidate profiles, role specifications, search strategies, assessment reports, and progress reports.
• Partner with client teams on pitch presentations and business development materials.
• Initiate and drive business development activities and related projects.
• Monitor market shifts, company updates, and people moves.
• Build targeted event lists for business development dinners, conferences, and other connections.
• Contribute to knowledge management by sharing expertise and best practices and recording relevant information.
• Develop subject matter expertise and provide strategic guidance on important trends.

Requirements

• Demonstrated functional experience in market research, qualitative or legal research, professional services/consulting, or project planning
• Previous project-based experience working effectively on multiple mandates simultaneously
• Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, client-driven environment
• Exceptional critical thinking and analytical skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication ability
• Very strong attention to detail
• Relevant health-related consulting or research experience is preferred
• Previous executive search industry experience is preferred
• Superior engagement management abilities and initiative to lead projects with minimal guidance or supervision
