Borden Ladner Gervais LLP in Toronto seeks a resourceful Health Law Clerk to support lawyers on matters related to health law. You will assist with client reports, direct communications and daily file management.

2–5 years in a law clerk role with health law or medical malpractice focus; strong knowledge of the Rules of Civil Procedure; College Law Clerk Diploma or ILCO Certificate required; university degree is a plus.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years' experience in a law clerk role with a focus on litigation, preferably health law or medical malpractice
• Strong knowledge of the Rules of Civil Procedure
• University degree is an asset

Responsabilités

• Assist lawyers with matters relating to health law
• Prepare client reports and engage in direct client communications
• Daily file management; draft pleadings, document production and the discovery process; prepare for hearings and trials
• Collaborate as a team member and provide unwavering commitment to excellent client service
