GardaWorld is seeking a Health Complex Security Guard in Winnipeg, MB. This temporary coverage role involves patrolling hospital areas, de-escalating incidents, and verifying access to secure zones throughout the shift.

Responsibilities include responding to alarms, documenting incidents, and collaborating with law enforcement as needed. Medical first aid is advantageous, and the employer covers travel and accommodation for eligible guards.

Qualifications

• Be authorized to work in Canada.
• Hold a valid Manitoba security license.
• First aid certification an asset.
• Ability to stand and walk entire shift.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Previous experience in the security industry (asset).
• Tactical experience (Asset).
• Customer service oriented.
• Leadership and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a stressful environment.

Responsibilities

• Patrol sensitive areas to spot any suspicious activity.
• Verify identities and control access to secure areas.
• React quickly to threats or incidents.
• Responding to code.
• Check the proper functioning of alarms and cameras.
• Document incidents and actions taken.
• Respond to alarms and conduct on-site checks.
• Collaborate with law enforcement during serious incidents.

As a Health Complex Security Guard in a Hospital setting , physical ability and ability to De- elevate situation is essential as you will be moving around your entire shift, patrolling and de-escalate situations in a Hospital environment

• Hourly wage of $18.81+$560 for food+ Free travel and Accomodation ( Food travel and Accomodation provided for guards going from Winnipeg )
• Position: 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off ( 7Am to 7 Pm)
