Job Description

On-site: This role is categorized as onsite on a full-time basis. The primary location will be Oshawa, with travel to St. Catharines, CAMI, and other Canadian locations.

The Role:

The Health Center Supervisor is responsible for the direct management of nursing staff and the delivery of clinical operations across Canada. They guide and support medical staff, promote communication, monitor medical programs, integrate with the local business, oversee the site emergency response program, and promote health and well-being.

What You'll Do:

  1. Supervise day-to-day health center operations
  2. Lead and develop direct reports
  3. Promote communication
  4. Integrate with business partners
  5. Maintain health center compliance
  6. Monitor physical exam programs
  7. Support medical emergency response activities
  8. Support wellness and wellbeing initiatives at the site

Required Qualifications:

  • Registered Nurse in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario
  • 5+ years of nursing experience; supervisory experience preferred
  • Ability to communicate, motivate, and inspire direct reports and others
  • Ability to lead change within work groups and departments

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Canadian Nurses Association Certification as Occupational Health Nurse (OHN) (C) or Occupational Health Nursing Certificate
  • Creative and critical thinking skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Previous supervisory experience in a medical environment
