Job Summary

The Health Care Aide/Personal Support Worker supports the home care team by providing personal care services under the supervision of the Care Coordinator, tailored to meet client needs.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care and hygiene
• Meal preparation
• Light housekeeping
• Accompany clients on outings
• Medication reminders/assistance
• Assist with ambulation
• Provide companionship
• Follow care plans
• Documentation and charting

Qualifications

• HCA/PSW certification or equivalent (including foreign-trained nurses, nursing students)
• Current CPR/First Aid or willingness to obtain
• Negative TB test or chest x-ray
• Ability to travel within the territory
• Up-to-date COVID, Flu vaccinations
• Access to internet/mobile phone
