CBI Home Health is seeking a Pediatric Health Care Aide for overnight care in Edmonton. You will support children in their homes or lodges, provide personal care, assist with mobility, and monitor health changes under supervision. This role requires overnight availability and a compassionate, team-based approach.

Qualifications

• Active Practice Permit in good standing with CLHA.
• Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Screening within 6 months.
• Proof of a negative TB test.
• Reliable vehicle and valid driver’s license.
• Commitment to overnight shifts Saturday to Wednesday 22:00–08:00.
• Pediatric experience.
• Strong English communication; other languages are a plus.
• Reliability and strong organization skills.
• Ability to lift up to 35 lbs (16 kg).

What you will do:

As a caring, responsible health care team member, you will support clients to be as safe and independent in our congregate settings, as possible, helping them to live their best lives. You will provide personal care to clients in their home in the lodges, and may assist them to mobilize and perform light exercises. You will act at all times with the client and their family at the heart of all you do, observing, documenting, and reporting any changes in their condition to your Manager/Supervisor. You may be required to perform light housekeeping tasks as indicated in client care plans.

What you will need to be successful:

• An Active Practice Permit in good standing with the CLHA
• A clear Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Screening within the last 6 months
• Proof of a negative TB test
• Reliable vehicle and valid drivers license
• Commitment to work overnights Saturday to Wednesday 22:00-08:00hrs
• Pediatric experience
• Strong verbal and written English communication skills, with ability to communicate in other languages an asset
• Reliability and strong organization skills
• Ability to safely lift up to 35 lbs. (16 kg)
