Classic LifeCare in Red Deer, AB, is seeking compassionate Registered Health Care Aides (RHCAs) to support pediatric clients at home. This casual role involves providing personal care, medication assistance, and school/community assignments across Red Deer and surrounding areas.

Ideal candidates hold Alberta RHCA/LPN registration, CPR cert, and a clear vulnerable sector check, with a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Experience working with pediatric clients.
• Valid registration with the College of LPNs and HCAs of Alberta.
• CPR certificate.
• Clear criminal record check with vulnerable sector clearance.
• TB screening up to date.
• Valid driver’s license and vehicle access (asset).

Responsabilités

• Assist with personal care for infants and children.
• Administer medications as required.
• Provide support with tube feeding.
• Perform tracheostomy care as needed.
• Offer respite care to families.
• Assignments in schools, community, and home care; may involve mornings.
• Willing to cover shifts in Red Deer, AB.

Ideal Candidate Requirements:

• Experience working with pediatric clients.
• Valid registration with the College of LPNs and HCAs of Alberta directory.
• Ability to complete basic documentation via smartphone.
• Positive and friendly attitude, with a genuine passion for helping others.
• Valid CPR certificate.
• Clear criminal record check with a vulnerable sector clearance (required).
• Latest TB Screening test result (required).
• Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle (an asset).
• Located near or in Calgary.

As a RHCA with Classic LifeCare, your responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

• Assisting with personal care for infants and children.
• Administering medications as required.
• Providing support with tube feeding.
• Performing tracheostomy care.
• Offering respite care to provide relief and support for the client's family.
• Assignments in schools (mornings for back-to-school), community, and home care may be involved.
• Willing to be assigned and to cover shifts in Red Deer, AB.
