Job summary

Southern Health-Santé Sud in Manitoba is seeking a Health Care Aide to join our team and support elderly or disabled clients with compassionate care.

Applicants should have a Health Care Aide Certificate and current BLS, with strong English communication, confidentiality, safety awareness, and the ability to work in a busy, team-based environment. This is a term position that may end earlier per the collective agreement.

Qualifications

• Health Care Aide Certificate from a recognized program.
• Current BLS certification (Acute Care).
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.
• Knowledge of PHIA and FIPPA privacy requirements.
• Knowledge of WHMIS and safety procedures.
