Job summary

Senior Helpers Richmond is seeking a compassionate Caregiver to provide one-on-one personal care in clients' homes, helping them stay safe and independent. You will match your area of expertise to the seniors you care for and contribute to a supportive care team.

As a valued member of our Richmond office, you’ll assist with activities of daily living, document visits, and follow care plans. Training and flexible scheduling support work-life balance.

Qualifications

• Completion of a Health Care Assistant program or equivalent recognized training.
• Ability to communicate effectively in Cantonese and in English for care-team communication and documentation.
• Current First Aid and CPR certification.
• Reliable, patient, and respectful of client privacy.
• Willingness to complete required background screening.
• Experience supporting seniors or people living with dementia is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Support mobility and safe transfers according to the care plan.
• Provide companionship, meal preparation, and light housekeeping.
• Follow care plans, document visits, and report changes or concerns.
• Communicate respectfully with clients, families, and the care team.
