Qualifications

  • Graduate from an HCA / PSW program required.
  • Currently enrolled in a nursing program or internationally certified nurse is a plus.
  • Must have Level 1 First Aid and CPR / AED Certificate.

Responsibilities

  • Support residents in activities like light housekeeping and engagement.
  • Personalize care through relationship-building with residents.
  • Administer medications after training.

What you will bring :

  • Willingness to learn and apply your learning on the job.
  • You are a graduate from a recognized HCA / Personal Support Worker program.
  • You are currently enrolled in a nursing program or are an internationally certified nurse with one-year of Canadian nursing / PSW experience.
  • Current registration and a good standing with the BC Care Aide registry.
  • Ability to complete the Vulnerable Sector Check.
  • Level 1 First Aid, CPR / AED Certificate.
