Job summary

Amica Beechwood Village in Sidney, BC is seeking a Health Care Aide to join our casual team. You will support residents with daily activities, personal care, and engaging in meaningful moments, in a friendly senior living community.

We welcome applicants from diverse backgrounds and offer growth, supportive leadership, and flexible scheduling. Current BC Care Aide registry registration and First Aid/CPR are required.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a recognized HCA/PSW program.
• Currently enrolled in a nursing program or an internationally certified nurse.
• Current registration and good standing with the BC Care Aide registry.
• Ability to complete the Vulnerable Sector Check.
• Level 1 First Aid, CPR/AED Certificate.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident care and support activities including light housekeeping, engagement and dining support.
• Support residents with daily tasks and personal care as part of a compassionate team.
