Job summary

ParaMed Home Health Care in Canada is seeking a Health Care Aide (HCA) to support clients at home, helping them with daily tasks and personal care to live safely in their own environment. You will travel between patient homes in the Edmonton area, assist with meals, hygiene, light housekeeping, and companionship while respecting privacy and independence.

Qualifications

  • Graduate from a HCA program recognized and approved by the Government of Alberta.
  • Willingness to visit patient residences within a designated area.
  • Experience with personal hygiene care is an asset but not required.
  • Experience working with seniors and/or children is an asset.
  • Compassion and listening skills.
  • Passion for making a difference in your community.
  • Good written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to work every other weekend.
  • Ability to pass or satisfy a Criminal Background screening upon hire.
