Glen Traffic Solutions is a leading traffic control company in British Columbia. We are COR-certified and committed to maintaining high standards of safety, compliance, and training across all operations. As we grow, we’re looking for an experienced Health & Safety Officer (HSO) to help us maintain our COR certification and stay fully compliant with WorkSafeBC standards.

Position Summary:

We are seeking a results-driven Health & Safety Officer with COR internal and external audit experience to lead ongoing safety efforts across our Vancouver operations. The focus is not on achieving certification—we are already certified—but on maintaining it, along with strengthening compliance with WorkSafeBC regulations and building a robust safety culture across our field teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee COR maintenance audits and all related documentation
  • Ensure ongoing WorkSafeBC compliance, including injury reporting, claims support, and documentation
  • Facilitate JOHSC meetings, FLRA compliance, and daily site safety checks
  • Deliver toolbox talks, orientations, and specialized training as needed twice every week in our office
  • Perform field inspections and guide crew leads in following safe work procedures
  • Lead incident investigations and implement corrective actions
  • Track safety metrics and submit reports to management regularly
  • Collaborate with TCPs and supervisors to reinforce Glen Traffic’s safety-first approach

Required Qualifications:

  • Completion of COR Internal Auditor and COR External Auditor training (BCCSA or equivalent)
  • At least 3 years of relevant experience in traffic control, construction, or industrial safety
  • Strong knowledge of WorkSafeBC regulations and safety systems
  • Effective communicator with experience running field-level audits, inspections, and safety briefings
  • Class 5 driver’s license and ability to travel to various job sites as needed
  • TCP experience or understanding of traffic control operations is a bonus

Why Join Glen Traffic:

  • Join a COR-certified company focused on long-term safety culture and compliance
  • Choose between a contractor or employee role depending on your preference
  • Competitive compensation and flexible working style
  • Be part of a growing company with an emphasis on hands-on impact and leadership
