Reporting to the HSE Director, Western Canada, the Health & Safety Coordinator provides administrative and operational support for HSE programs across Western Canada. Responsibilities include incident reporting, compliance tracking, HSE systems administration, training coordination, subcontractor compliance, audits, safety documentation, and field support. This role is ideal for an early-career HSE professional seeking hands‑on experience in a national organization focused on safety and compliance.
This is an in‑office position, 5 days per week. Remote or hybrid work arrangements are not available. Occasional travel throughout Western Canada may be required.
The salary range is $68,000.00 to $78,000.00 per year. Actual salaries will vary based on factors such as education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as alignment with market data. The base salary is just one component of Ainsworth’s total compensation package, which also includes additional rewards and benefits such as short‑term incentives and health insurance, among others.
