Senior Recruitment Partner at The Portfolio Group | Hiring Top Health & Safety, Marketing & Finance Professionals

The role of a Health & Safety Consultant is crucial in ensuring organizations maintain safe and healthy working environments for their employees.

This is a field-based, full-time permanent position in Vancouver, BC. A valid driver’s license is required.

Compensation includes a base salary plus a $8,400 car allowance, with mileage and gas covered.

Key responsibilities include:

1. Engaging with clients to follow up and confirm appointments.
2. Conducting onsite and virtual assessments to develop tailored Health & Safety Management Systems, policies, and programs.
3. Providing health and safety advice, risk assessments, training, safe work procedures, gap analyses, inspections, and audits.
4. Advising clients on implementing health and safety management systems and tools.
5. Meeting internal KPIs and ensuring timely record and report completion.
6. Contributing to the development of health and safety products and collaborating with other professionals to exceed client expectations.

This role requires technical expertise, strong interpersonal skills, and a commitment to employee well-being across diverse environments.

Education and Experience:

• Degree or diploma from an accredited institution.
• OHS Designation (CRSP/CRST) is mandatory and must be registered or in progress.
• Experience with COR and ISO 45001 is an asset.
• Strong knowledge of Canadian Occupational Health and Safety legislation.
• At least 3+ years of relevant experience in health and safety.
• Experience dealing with regulators.
• High computer literacy (PCs, iPad, Salesforce).
• Ability to work independently and autonomously.
