Job summary

Tigercat Industries seeks a Technical Publications Manager to lead and evolve our documentation function. You will develop the vision, processes, and team capabilities to support our expanding product range and global customer base.

You will collaborate with Engineering, Service, and Product Support to ensure publications meet operator and technician needs worldwide, driving quality and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in technical writing, communications, or documentation management.
• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in a related field or equivalent experience.
• Experience with Paligo CMS, InDesign, and 3D/2D illustration tools is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of technical writers, illustrators, and documentation specialists.
• Establish vision, processes, and strategies to support product development and service.
• Manage workloads, priorities, and publication delivery across portfolio.
• Drive continuous improvement through data, metrics, and stakeholder feedback.
• Oversee creation of operators’ manuals, service manuals, parts catalogs, and safety information.
• Ensure accuracy, consistency, and alignment with product configurations.
• Establish standards, QA processes, and regulatory/compliance alignment.
• Lead evaluation and adoption of documentation tools and publishing platforms.
