Job summary

butcher-power-products seeks a visionary Vice President of Supply Chain to lead and scale the end-to-end supply chain for a rapidly growing manufacturing business. The role combines strategic oversight with hands-on execution across planning, procurement, warehousing, and production scheduling.

You will chair SIOP, build a high-performing team, and partner on ERP implementation to optimize service levels and cost. Strong leadership, analytics, and cross-functional influence are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
• 15+ years of progressive supply chain leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated ability to build and scale a supply chain organization for high-growth manufacturing.
• Experience implementing or optimizing SIOP/S&OP processes.
• Hands-on ERP implementation experience (SAP, Oracle, Infor, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar).
• Strong analytical, project management, and change management skills.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence at the executive level.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of accurate demand forecasts in collaboration with Sales, Marketing, and Finance.
• Own supply planning processes to translate demand signals into feasible production and procurement plans.
• Design, implement, and facilitate a formal SIOP process with cross-functional alignment.
• Identify and implement replenishment models and planning parameters across materials.
• Oversee warehouse operations, cycle count program, and inventory accuracy improvements.
• Direct material flow and detailed scheduling of manufacturing lines.
• Lead supplier negotiations and establish supplier relationships to ensure continuity.
• Serve as a key stakeholder for ERP modules during implementation.
• Build and scale the supply chain organization with clear roles and accountability.
• Develop policies, KPIs, and drive Lean/Six Sigma improvements.
