Manitoba Hydro in Winnipeg is seeking a senior security leader to head the SOC Technology Management team within Cyber Security Operations. You will translate goals into priorities, coach and develop professionals, and ensure strong performance across the unit.

You will oversee protection, monitoring, detection, response, automation, and reporting; align with IT and OT requirements and stay ahead of evolving threats. This role requires deep knowledge of SIEM, EDR/XDR, SSE, and cloud security.

Formación

• Degree or diploma in a relevant field with minimum years of IT/ICS experience.
• Cybersecurity certifications and knowledge of security technologies is an asset.
• Knowledge of NIST, NERC CIP and security best practices.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and develop the SOC Technology Management team with clear priorities.
• Ensure protection, monitoring, detection, investigation, response, and reporting capabilities.
• Expand and sustain security operations technology coverage across IT/OT.
• Support incident response and recovery in 24/7 operations as needed.
• Stay informed on emerging threats, technologies, and regulatory requirements.
