Job description

About the Role: Head of Product

As Head of Product at SELLIT9, you'll define what we build, why, and when. You'll own the product roadmap end to end, from the consumer trade-in experience to merchant integrations and internal tools, working directly with the CEO and CTO to turn business strategy into shipped product.

This is a hands-on, player-coach role. We don't have layers of PMs: you are the product function. You'll talk to customers, write specs, prioritize ruthlessly, and ship alongside a small engineering and design team.

A note on AI-native, because it cuts both ways: building with agents daily is non-negotiable here, but AI multiplies judgment, it doesn't replace it. You own every call an agent helps you reach.

What You'll Do

  • Own the product roadmap and prioritization across consumer, merchant, and internal platforms.

  • Define product strategy aligned with business goals: US growth, new merchant integrations, conversion.

  • Write clear specs and work directly with engineering and design to ship.

  • Talk to customers (sellers and merchant partners) regularly to understand pain points and opportunities.

  • Define and track product KPIs: conversion rate, order completion, partner adoption, NPS.

  • Use data to find opportunities and validate decisions, in GA4, Microsoft Clarity, BigQuery, and our internal Mercury reports.

  • Vibe-code your own prototypes with coding agents (Claude Code, Codex, or similar) so ideas reach engineering as working software, not slide decks.

  • Turn your repeatable product work into agent skills: research digests, spec templates, KPI reports, ticket triage.

  • Balance new features, tech debt, and operational improvements.

  • Contribute to go-to-market for new products and partnerships.

Apply if you

  • Have 7+ years of product management experience, including at least 2 leading product at an early-stage startup.

  • Have shipped products in e-commerce, fintech, or marketplaces.

  • Are a strong writer: you turn ambiguous problems into clear specs.

  • Are deeply analytical and comfortable pulling your own data and running your own queries.

  • Have worked on both consumer (B2C) and merchant/partner (B2B) products.

  • Understand technical trade-offs and collaborate well with engineers without being one.

  • Work AI-natively, and this is non-negotiable: you're comfortable vibe coding a prototype, you generate your own agent skills, and AI agents are part of how you research, spec, and analyze every day.

  • Are fluent in English (written and spoken).

Even better if you have

  • Experience in trade-in, recommerce, or logistics platforms.

  • A track record of owning a metric end to end, not just shipping features.
