Job summary

WELL Health Technologies Corp in Toronto is hiring a Head of Procurement and Strategic Sourcing to build the procurement function from the ground up. The role is full-time and permanent with a hybrid work setup, requiring occasional in-office work in Toronto or Vancouver. You will report to the Chief Operating Officer and lead all sourcing activities.

Compensation includes CA$150,000–CA$160,000 per year plus short- and long-term incentives, with potential bonuses up to 40% of total compensation.

Qualifications

• Experience developing procurement strategies, analyzing spend, identifying savings, and leading sourcing initiatives end to end.
• Supplier negotiation, proposal evaluation, and contract management skills.
• Ability to work with executive leaders and operational stakeholders and build practical processes.

Responsibilities

• Develop procurement strategy, policies, processes, and purchasing guidelines.
• Consolidate and analyze company-wide spend, identify savings opportunities, and prioritize sourcing activity.
• Lead competitive sourcing processes, including RFPs, supplier evaluation, negotiations, and contract execution.
• Establish procurement governance and improve supplier and contract management.
• Partner with the COO, Finance, technology leaders, and operational teams; track outcomes and validate savings with Finance.
• Support procurement integration as the company grows through acquisitions.

Occasional in-office work is expected in Toronto or Vancouver; exceptional candidates elsewhere may also be considered.

Compensation

Salary range: $150,000–$160,000 per year, plus short- and long-term incentives, with the opportunity to earn up to 40% in combined bonuses.
