Job summary

Electromega, a Quebec-based designer and manufacturer of smart mobility solutions across Canada, is seeking a senior procurement professional. You will purchase for manufacturing, negotiate with suppliers, and optimize inventory to ensure on-time delivery.

You will manage local and international suppliers, use MRP and ERP (Dynamics NAV/Business Central), track orders, and contribute to continuous process improvement.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement or purchasing.
• Experience with an ERP (Microsoft Dynamics NAV, Business Central, or equivalent).
• Good knowledge of MRP, inventory management, and purchasing.

Responsibilities

• Purchasing from local and international suppliers.
• Plan procurement needs using MRP and Microsoft Dynamics NAV/Business Central.
• Obtaining quotes and negotiating prices, delivery times, and purchase terms.
• Tracking orders until delivery.
• Maintaining procurement data in the ERP.
• Managing inventory levels to prevent stockouts and overstocking.
• Coordinating imports, carriers, and customs brokers.
• Developing and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers.
• Participating to the continuous improvement of procurement processes.

Your Role

Your Main Responsibilities

• Purchasing from local and international suppliers.

The Ideal Candidate

• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks.
• Excellent negotiation, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.
• Bilingualism (French-English).
