Job summary

Viral Nation Inc. is seeking a Director of Business Intelligence in Canada to lead enterprise analytics strategy and build a high-performing team of analysts.

You will translate data into commercial growth opportunities, partner with Sales, Marketing, Brand, and Finance, and embed analytics into core business decisions with a strategic, data-driven approach. The role demands advanced analytics expertise, cross-functional leadership, and the ability to drive ROI through robust measurement

Qualifications

• 12+ years of progressive experience in research, analytics, and measurement, with leadership of complex initiatives.
• Advanced expertise in brand tracking, brand lift studies, regression analysis, MMM, social listening, and analytics.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL for data modeling; experience with cloud data warehouses.
• Ability to architect scalable analytics workflows and reporting systems for automation and self-serve insights.
• Strong executive communication and collaboration, translating findings into actionable business guidance.

Responsibilities

• Act as senior analytics partner to client account, strategy, and service teams; translate objectives into scalable measurement frameworks.
• Advise executive leadership; shape marketing, retail, and social investment decisions with data-driven insights.
• Elevate analytics from reporting to strategic advantage; synthesize data into narratives informing brand and channel strategy.
• Own end-to-end measurement strategy across paid media, influencer, social, and retail media; link investment to revenue outcomes.
• Forecast incremental revenue and retail lift by developing predictive models connecting media spend to sales velocity.
• Design robust ROI frameworks, including brand lift and sales lift studies, MTA, and marketing mix modeling.
