Job summary

Marsh is seeking a senior leader to helm the Employee & Individual Benefits business in Canada. You will shape the strategic direction, drive growth, and partner with carriers, plan advisors, and major clients to deliver integrated, AI-enabled solutions.

The role requires 12+ years of leadership across benefits, with strong P&L acumen and a track record of transforming complex operating models. Hybrid work arrangement and a focus on client experience define the opportunity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and experience.
• 12+ years of progressive leadership experience in group benefits with P&L responsibility.
• Deep technical knowledge of group and retiree benefits products and administration processes.
• Proven experience leading leaders across administration, underwriting, sales, and client service.
• Strong commercial acumen with pricing, underwriting governance, margin management, and P&L leadership.
• Demonstrated track record of leading business transformation and operational modernization.

Responsibilities

• Set the strategic direction and growth plan for the Employee & Individual Benefits business in Canada.
• Lead the transformation of the business by identifying opportunities to simplify, innovate, and reimagine how work is delivered across the operating model.
• Mentor and develop a multidisciplinary leadership team across administration, underwriting, sales, and client service to deliver integrated solutions and continuous improvement.
• Foster a client-centric and innovation-oriented culture focused on service excellence, operational efficiency, and measurable business impact.
• Accountable for divisional P&L performance and driving profitable growth.
• Define, monitor, and report on key KPIs including client retention, service levels, profitability, new business win rate, productivity, and operational effectiveness.
