Job summary

Morson Group is seeking a Director of Design, Engineering & Architecture to lead the design, coordination and technical delivery of building projects in Vancouver, BC. This permanent, on-site role combines architectural excellence with industrial design, modular engineering and product development to advance innovative building solutions.

You will set roadmaps, manage budgets and schedules, mentor a high-performing team, and collaborate with manufacturing, construction and external consultants

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Architecture.
• Licensed Architect (RAIC, AIBC, or equivalent).
• 10-15+ years of architectural experience with increasing responsibility.
• Experience in modular design, CLT construction and prefabrication is valued.
• Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, BIM workflows and 3D visualization tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of design, engineering and architectural solutions for projects and products.
• Establish and maintain the design and architectural roadmap with a mid- to long-term vision.
• Manage architectural deliverables, schedules and resource planning.
• Ensure compliance with building codes, zoning regulations and industry standards.
• Coordinate with internal and external teams to integrate innovations into products and projects.
• Provide oversight during project construction and site reviews.
• Lead internal design audits and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Promote a culture of design creativity and engineering excellence.
• Partner with leadership to develop strategy, budgets and growth plans.
