Job summary

Enkel is seeking an experienced bookkeeping professional with leadership experience to serve as our Senior Manager,Bookkeeping and Payroll. In this role, you will lead our Account Management and Onboarding teams, ensuring our clients receive outstanding bookkeeping services and ongoing financial operations support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• CPA or equivalent certification is a strong plus.
• 7+ years in bookkeeping, accounting services, or financial operations.
• 3+ years in leadership or client-success roles.

Responsibilities

• Lead Onboarding and Account Management teams to deliver bookkeeping service and client support.
• Oversee client onboarding from sales to delivery with accurate financial processes.
• Drive retention by monitoring client health and addressing concerns proactively.
• Establish best practices for bookkeeping account management and regular check-ins.
• Implement standardized workflows to enhance efficiency and customer experience.
• Collaborate with Sales, Delivery, and Customer Support for a seamless journey.
• Monitor KPIs and use data-driven improvements to optimize service delivery.
• Act as escalation point for complex bookkeeping and financial issues.
• Foster a culture of client advocacy, learning, and process improvement.
