As a Head Housekeeper at Ashlynn Grange Care Home, you will be responsible for ensuring a high quality of cleanliness within the home.

About Ashlynn Grange Care Home:
Ashlynn Grange is an exceptional 153-bed care home in Peterborough. The home prides itself on the surrounding gardens that grow flowers and a variety of different vegetables.

About the role:
Leading our Housekeeping team, the Head Housekeeper is responsible for ensuring the highest service standards of cleaning to provide a clean, safe and welcoming environment for our residents and visitors.

Salary:
£12.06 per hour.

Shift Pattern:
37.5 hours per week, worked on a rota basis from Monday to Sunday.

Home Location:
Bretton Gate, Peterborough, PE3 9UZ.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

  1. Manage overall responsibility for support services within the home for laundry and domestic housekeeping.
  2. Support the management team in the recruitment, induction and training of the support service team; ensuring training targets are met and team is competent in their roles.
  3. Manage rotas, budgets, stocks and reporting duties for the Housekeeping department within the home.
  4. Support, lead, manage and inspire direct reports to deliver outstanding service for the home.

Training, Skills & Experience Required:

  1. Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar position, with proven experience successfully managing a team, budgets and targets.
  2. A passion for care – we’re looking for a genuinely caring individual who will put the needs of our residents first.
  3. Excellent communication and customer service skills, as well as high attention to detail.
