Job summary

Extendicare Michener Hill in Red Deer, Alberta is seeking a part-time Health Care Aide to provide personal assistance and daily living support to residents, including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and other ADLs.

Reporting to the Director of Care, you will communicate care needs to the interdisciplinary team, mentor new staff and students, and collaborate with residents, families, and colleagues to maintain comfort and safety.

Qualifications

• Health Care Aide Certification or equivalent required.
• Experience in long-term care is an asset.
• Excellent organization, time management, and communication skills.
• English proficiency required.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal assistance and daily living support.
• Assist with bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting and other ADLs.
